September11, 2006 update

Dear Friends,

Yesterday was another great day in the work here in Ireland. What a great delight to see Eamonn McDonnell and Danie Malan follow the Lord in believer's baptism. What a tremendous answer to prayer! These two men wanted to forgo renting the local pool and have their baptisms in the Irish Sea. It was truly an exciting day especially since the tides were at a ten year high! It was windy and the waves were crashing in but Praise the Lord for the heart of determination in following after our Lord's command. Danie had all of his family there and many friends as well.

Eamonn on the other hand came alone. As you recall he is the only that has trusted Christ in his family. It was great to see the friendliness and family atmosphere as the church family rallied their support and encouragement behind Eamonn as well as Danie.

Continue to pray for the spiritual growth of these men. Danie is considering the ministry. Pray that God would make his will clear in this area for him. Eamonn has been witnessing to his family. Please pray fervently for his wife Ailene and children, Gerald, Shannon and Lewis to come to know the Lord.
